This web site gives you details about the school, our aims, organisation, curriculum, rules and policies. It is not possible to describe everything we do here but I hope it will give you a flavour of what we are about and what we have to offer.

It is very important that parents or guardians keep involved with the school. To achieve our aims and provide a good education for the pupils at St. Nicholas, it is essential that there is a positive relationship between school and home. It is very important that this relationship reflects mutual understanding, close co-operation, trust and positive support. We will endeavour to do our best in helping and educating our pupils.

The school was inspected by an OFSTED team in January 1997 and I am pleased to say that the findings of the report were very positive. The report highlighted that St. Nicholas School is a welcoming school with sound educational standards which caters for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties in a supportive manner
